British/Nigerian | Jamaican/Indian

My name is Tyler and I’m ten years old. I have a twin brother called Morgan who is autistic and non-verbal. He likes me to chase him around. My Father is also mixed-race; his Mother is British, and his late Father was Nigerian. My Grandad was also the former vice president of Nigeria and an admiral in the Nigerian Navy. My Father is also a naturalised Canadian citizen. He is my role model because he helps me with my acting. He is an actor, and we are both represented by the same agency, International Artists Management. My Mother is British born to a Jamaican Mother, her late Father was half Jamaican and half Indian. My Mother is also my role model and helps me with my singing, she is a professional singer. She takes me to concerts and we get to go backstage and meet the singers. She works as an executive assistant for a celebrity.

I enjoy going to primary school, and like learning about history and English. My friends in class come from many different countries and cultures. I take drama, singing and dance lessons at Sylvia Young Theatre School and Jigsaw Performing Arts School. I play the cello and have just achieved my grade 1 certificate. I see actors that look like me in films and television shows. It makes me feel that I can also be in films and on television too. I like to travel on holidays with my family, especially when we fly on a plane. I’ve been to Spain, America, Portugal, Haiti, Cozumel, Grand Cayman, and Jamaica. I haven’t been to Nigeria, India or Canada yet, but I’m hoping to go to Canada soon. The only language I am learning is Spanish at school.
